Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job DescriptionSenior Project Manager (Construction) – StormwaterParsons, Abu Dhabi (Al Dhafra), UAEWhat You'll Be DoingWorking closely with the client to deliver key projectsWorking closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure their requirements are metWorking with senior leaders to develop a delivery modelResponsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the projectOversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as requiredEstablish program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitor the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteriaDevelop and distribute a summary description of the project to all members of the project team for referencePlan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned projectAssign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Provide input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinatesMobilize company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality workDiscuss the qualifications required of the key project positions in specific detail with the profit center and department managersWork with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a projectEnsure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plansWork with the key project individual to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of workAdvise the client and company management of any such changesMaintain current and timely change ordersPromote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processesMonitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or scheduleEstablish weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action itemsPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateWhat Required Skills You'll BringAbility to effectively present information to key stakeholders as required by the client.Experience in PMC projects.Understanding of the PMC, construction and design delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of large-scaled projects.Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others.Ability to function in a multi-organizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client’s proactive, collaborative culture.Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.Minimum of 10 years of experience managing utility programs or large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on stormwater.An ability to work in a team environment.Excellent communication skills.An ability to develop collaborative relationships.Experience in the delivery or wet infrastructure projects.Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large, complex utility projects.Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for utility infrastructure.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
