This role ensures all electrical components operate safely and efficiently while adhering to local codes, company policies, and gaming regulations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in commercial electrical work, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Compensation: Starting at $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.BenefitsMedicalDentalBasic Life Insurance (included with the dental plan)VisionShort-term DisabilityCombo plan covering accidents, hospitalizations, and critical illnessesFree on-site parkingOne free meal per shiftPaid time offEligibility to participate in a 401(k)-retirement plan (after 6 months of successful employment)Location: In-person in Las Vegas, NV: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, circuit breakers, wiring, and control panels.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions to minimize downtime in casino gaming areas, hotel rooms, restaurants, and back-of-house facilities.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.Respond promptly to electrical service requests from all departments, including gaming, hotel operations, and food & beverage outlets.Repair and maintain kitchen and restaurant electrical equipment, including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, and ventilation systems.Ensure emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and security systems remain in proper working condition.Maintain electrical systems by reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical issues.Ensure all electrical work meets local, state, and UBC.Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies when performing electrical work.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming industry regulations related to electrical systems in a casino environment.Properly document all electrical repairs and installations for compliance and record-keeping purposes.Work closely with the maintenance and facilities teams to coordinate electrical needs for daily operations and special projects.Assist with electrical requirements for special events, gaming floor changes, and renovations.Provide input on energy efficiency improvements and system upgrades to reduce operational costs.Provide exceptional customer service to guests and Team Members alike by addressing maintenance-related inquiries and concerns professionally.Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.Skills / ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field preferred.Must be 21 years of age.At least 3 years of experience in commercial electrical work, preferably within the casino, hospitality, and/or food and beverage industries.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-paced setting.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Must speak, interpret, read and write English and Spanish fluently.Maintain a state-issued driver's license and clean DMV record to be available if needed using a Company vehicle. Adhere to the Company's Driver Policy.Must be willing and able to travel to various business operations locations to provide on-site maintenance support.Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays for emergency repairs as needed.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces and perform tasks at heights using ladders or lifts.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.Use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.Ability to perform tasks at heights using ladders or lifts.Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing at least 100 pounds and may push or pull items weighing up to 200 pounds.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Team Member is exposed to several factors including dust, cigarette smoke, and possibly various outside weather conditions.This job description is not an exhaustive list of all functions required for this position.
