Cesvi is seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to lead our operations in Venezuela as Head of Mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects in emergency response, child protection, and prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive program strategies that align with Cesvi's mission and goals.Team Management: Lead and manage a team of staff members, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure effective project delivery.Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local partners, donors, and stakeholders to secure funding and promote Cesvi's work in Venezuela.Safeguarding: Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding are maintained, protecting vulnerable individuals from harm and exploitation.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior management roles within complex country programs, with a proven track record of success in emergency response and fragile state contexts. They will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to challenging environments.Cesvi offers a competitive salary range of €3600 – 4000 gross monthly, plus benefits including health insurance and guest house accommodation in Caracas. The contract duration is six months renewable.
