The accountant may be responsible for daily bookkeeping tasks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, payroll, reconciliation of various accounts including bank and credit cards, preparation of financial statements, and more. We are an outsourced accounting department, which means you could work with multiple clients. This is a client-facing role.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and record invoice payments with accuracy and adherence to coding standards.Organize, secure, and maintain financial records and cash equivalents in compliance with company policies.Manage and analyze computerized financial information.Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.Classify, code, and summarize financial data for record-keeping using various accounting tools.Prepare and distribute various financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.Execute period-end closing procedures and generate reports as specified.Review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements following company procedures.Collaborate with internal teams and external teams to resolve discrepancies or issues.Skills RequiredPeople Skills: Attentive, friendly, courteous service delivery; ability to create rapport and work collaboratively.Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues; implementing best practices.Judgment & Discretion: Handle confidential information responsibly; maintain confidentiality.Organizational and Time Management Skills: Effective scheduling, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and working independently.Attention to Detail: Follow instructions precisely; ensure accuracy in tasks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustries: Accounting
