Tunneling Inspector

Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Tunneling Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team here in Dubai In this role, you will assist the Resident Engineer and the Assistant Resident Engineer in overseeing activities related to the tunnel construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
What You'll Be Doing

Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
Give practical advice on constructional matters.
Inspect construction, including temporary works, to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
Direct Inspectors and ensure performance.
Assist in or measure work done when required.
Observe site safety procedures.
Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings.
Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

Bachelor Degree in Civil, or Structural Engineering with minimum 4 years related construction supervision experience.
Or Diploma in Civil, or Structural Engineering with minimum 7 years related construction supervision experience.
Project experience in Tunnels using TBM and Precast Liners are mandatory.
Preferably with related work experience in Dubai, UAE, or GCC in an engineering consulting firm.
