We're looking for candidates who are passionate about technology, proficient in English, and excited to engage in remote collaboration for a worldwide presence.About the Role:We are looking for a UX/UI Designer with strong Shopify experience to collaborate on an on-demand basis across multiple e-commerce projects. This role is ideal for a designer who understands how to balance aesthetic quality with conversion-focused design and who is comfortable working closely with developers, product leads, and e-commerce stakeholders.You will be involved in improving user experience, optimizing conversion paths, and designing scalable Shopify experiences that align with business goals. This position is not full-time by default; instead, you will be engaged as projects arise, making it a great fit for designers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and working with different brands and challenges.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign conversion-focused UX/UI for Shopify stores and landing pagesCreate and iterate on wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designsCollaborate closely with Shopify developers to ensure design feasibility and quality executionApply UX best practices to improve navigation, checkout flows, and overall usabilitySupport CRO initiatives, including A/B tests and design optimizationsEnsure designs are responsive and optimized for mobile and desktopMaintain consistency with brand guidelines and design systems when applicableMust-HaveProven experience as a UX/UI Designer for e-commerce (Shopify)Strong understanding of UX principles, CRO, and user-centered designHands-on experience designing Shopify themes, templates, or custom sectionsProficiency with design tools such as Figma(or similar)Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and non-technical stakeholdersStrong communication skills and the ability to present design decisions clearlyNice to HaveExperience working in agency or consulting environmentsFamiliarity with Shopify PlusKnowledge of tools like Hotjar, GA4, A/B testing platformsBasic understanding of HTML/CSS for better dev collaborationExperience designing for subscription or high-traffic e-commerce storesBenefits & PerksHome officeCompetitive compensation based on experienceCareer plans to allow for extensive growth in the companyInternational ProjectsOowlish English Program (Technical and Conversational)Oowlish Fitness with Total PassGames and CompetitionsHow to applyYou can also apply here:Website: https://www.oowlish.com/work-with-us/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/oowlish/jobs/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oowlishtechnology/
