Job Summary

The Psychiatric Social Worker is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, providing direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning to our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of psychopathology and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment interventions. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work and 2+ years of experience as an LCSW in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning to patients
  • Develop and implement effective treatment interventions
  • Collaborate with the Psychiatrist to develop programs related to mental health
  • Participate in departmental functions such as staff meetings and committees
Requirements
  • Active California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Master's Degree from an Accredited School of Social Work
  • 2+ years of experience as an LCSW in a healthcare setting
  • Certificate of completion in Columbia Suicide Severity Rate Scale (C-SSRS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working with mental health patients
