Job Overview: Mission Leader - Venezuela

This critical role will be based in the Country Office in Venezuela (Caracas) and involve regular travel to different locations throughout the country. The ideal candidate will join our team soon.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager and be responsible for overseeing programme coordination and supervision, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive programme strategy for Venezuela
  • Serving as the primary point of contact and coordinator for various stakeholders
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements

To excel in this position, you must have:

  • A University degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in senior management roles within non-governmental organisations
  • Extensive experience working in complex country programmes
  • Exceptional skills in proposal development and project writing
  • Proven leadership and management abilities
  • Excellent diplomatic skills
  • Fluency in English and high proficiency in Spanish

The contract offers a competitive salary range of €3600 - 4000 gross monthly.
