We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP, including networking, storage, and compute resources.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in cloud infrastructure and operations.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and services to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, and administration, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Solid understanding of IaC concepts and tools, including Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Experience working with Containers and Kubernetes Clusters.
  • Knowledge of Linux OS engineering, architecture, and administration, including automation and self-service solutions.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery preparedness, monitoring, testing, and activation.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Logic Monitor, Datadog, VMware vRealize, and others.

The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
