Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Refugee Health

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Community Health - Refugee Health team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the management of the clinical care of newly arrived refugee children and their families in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with government and non-acute care agencies to coordinate the management and care of the refugee children and their families in the community.
  • Identify and manage complex health issues in regards to refugee children and their families.
  • Conduct case reviews and prioritise clinical nursing care to refugee children and their families.
  • Lead the planning, development and evaluation of refugee health programs in CACH.
  • Assist in the development of regional education and training requirements plan in consultation with relevant stakeholders, staff and relevant external organisations.
Eligibility:

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
