Overview

Nexera Design Group is a dynamic organization that specializes in Building Information Modeling (BIM). We are seeking an experienced BIM Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative electrical systems within building projects.

As a BIM Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing and coordinating electrical systems using industry-leading software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks. Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless integration of electrical components with other building systems through effective clash detection and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop BIM models for electrical systems within building projects.
  • Utilize BIM software to design and coordinate electrical systems effectively.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure smooth integration of electrical components with other building systems.
  • Generate accurate quantity takeoffs, schedules, and reports from BIM models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 4 years working as a BIM Engineer.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems design and installation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of electrical power distribution systems.
