We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Med Tech to join our team at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and nuclear medicine, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients
- Operate scintillation detection equipment and scanners to record visual representations of isotope concentrations
- Conduct organ or body scans to provide diagnostic aid to physicians
- Administer isotope dosage and record dosage administered
- Regularly exposed to direct contact with patients, potential exposure to blood, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a clinic environment
- Must be able to sit/stand for extensive periods, lift/push patients weighing up to 300 pounds, and reach above shoulder height
