This position as an Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Accountancy Team and contributing to our property management efforts. A strong 'can-do' attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and ability to multitask are essential qualities required for this role. You will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of property management, enabling you to become proficient in accountancy tasks.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all accounts.
  • Preparing monthly journal entries.
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in preparing and filing monthly and quarterly state sales taxes.
  • Assisting with financial statement preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including consolidations.
  • Assisting with the annual external audit.
  • Collaborating with AR, AP, and other departments as needed to resolve issues.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-motivated approach to continuously learning and improving skills.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from BsF27,500.00 to BsF42,000.00 per month. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
