Radiopharmaceutical Imaging Specialist

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiopharmaceutical Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining and evaluating patient-related information to produce high-quality images, demonstrating knowledge of age-related factors to ensure appropriate image production, and providing exceptional services to client facilities and patients.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic studies, selecting proper techniques and obtaining optimal data.
• Administer intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by a physician.
• Operate gamma cameras to produce and process images.
• Ensure safe transfers and assistance to patients.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to guidelines from the client facility and equipment manufacturer.

Requirements:

• CURRENT License/Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist issued by the State of California, Department of Health Services.
• Must have CA License IN HAND to Apply.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification if required.
