About the Role

The Government of Western Australia Department of Health is seeking a qualified Developmental Therapist Specialist to join our team in the Child Development Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment services to infants, children and young people with developmental concerns.

The Child Development Service provides comprehensive assessment and intervention services to support the development of infants, children and young people with developmental delays or difficulties. Our service is dedicated to delivering high-quality care that is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and their family.

Your Responsibilities

* Provide assessment and treatment services to infants, children and young people with developmental concerns
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
* Work effectively with families to support their child's development and address any concerns they may have

Requirements

* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or related field
* Registration by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
