About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Frontend Engineer to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications using modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop web applications using React, TypeScript, and other modern web technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
  • Work closely with designers to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, and other modern web technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with Linux and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
