We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our expert annotation team in creating training data for the world's most advanced AI models. No prior AI experience is necessary, and you'll have the opportunity to work with one of the biggest players in the AI/LLM space today.
Responsibilities- Evaluate the quality of AI-generated code, including human-readable summaries of your rationale.
- Solve coding problems, writing functional and efficient code.
- Write robust test cases to confirm code works efficiently and effectively.
- Solve coding challenges, create instructions to help others, review the code before it goes into the model, and engage in a variety of projects.
We offer competitive pay rates based on your location:
- US: $50/hour
- Brazil: $28.70/hour
- Egypt: $22.05/hour
- Philippines: $25.55/hour
- All other Non-US countries: $35/hour
We expect our developers to work 15+ hours per week, but there is no upper limit. You'll be paid weekly based on hours worked on the platform.
Contract LengthWe offer a long-term contract with no end date expected for the next 2 years. You can end the contract at any time, and we hope you'll commit to 12 months of work.
Flexible SchedulesDevelopers can set their own hours, and ideal candidates will be interested in spending 40 hours a week. Strong performers will adapt to project urgency while maintaining flexibility.
Interview ProcessApply using the Ashby form. If you look like a good fit, we'll send an async RLHF code review that will take 35 minutes and needs to be completed within 72 hours. You'll receive credentials to the RLHF platform, and we'll set up a group call to answer questions about onboarding. You'll perform a simulated production-level RLHF task on the platform, which will be your final interview and determine your employment and leveling.
Required Qualifications- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- 1-2+ years of experience in a software engineering/software development role or completion of a university-level computer science degree.
- Complete fluency in the English language.
- Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in writing.
- Solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Recognized accomplishments or contributions to the coding community or in projects.
- Proven analytical skills with an ability to approach problems creatively.
- Adept communication skills, especially in understanding and discussing project requirements.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest coding advancements and best practices.
- Enthusiasm for teaching AI models and experience with technical writing
