Hydrocarbon Asset Evaluator

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservoir Engineer/Underwriter to join our team at Community Minerals. Our company specializes in the purchase of mineral or royalty rights across the US, with over 100 years of combined industry experience.

This role involves performing financial analyses, production forecasting, and economic evaluations to assess acquisition opportunities for oil and gas wells.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform declination curve analysis on oil and gas wells to estimate future reserves.
• Analyze well production from conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
• Provide revision and technical evaluation of oil and gas wells.
• Evaluate documentation provided by customers or regulatory filings to determine well development.

Requirements:

• BS in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering degree.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Google Workspace.
• Technical understanding of reservoir engineering (either conventional or unconventional).
• Good grasp of reserve and well forecasting (Arp's and other forecasting methods).
• Knowledge of artificial lift methods for oil and gas wells.
• Able to understand English written and verbally.
• Available for full-time work during scheduled business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with different decline curve analysis (DCA) methods.
• Remote work experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Experience with GIS mapping systems.

The estimated monthly salary for this position is BsF23,643.00 - BsF29,416.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
