Job Summary

This position involves greeting patients and their families, answering calls, and directing messages to appropriate personnel. You will also be responsible for checking in patients, informing clinical staff of patient arrival, and providing paperwork for completion. Additionally, you will collect co-pays, update demographics, and schedule outside consults and procedures ordered by a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Check in patients and inform clinical staff of patient arrival.
  • Provide and explain paperwork for patient completion.
  • Collect, proof, and scan patient forms.
  • Update demographics and insurance information in the system.
  • Collect co-pays and balances, provide receipts.
  • Answer phone calls, screen, and respond to routine questions.
