Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our dynamic team at Valatam. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial health and guiding our strategic decisions.

The Role:

As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for analyzing industry trends, assessing the company's financial health, and recommending actions to maintain or enhance performance. You will conduct comprehensive analyses of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance against business plans.

You will identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, oversee the operations of the finance department, set goals, and design frameworks to achieve them. Additionally, you will manage the preparation of the company's budget and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing industry trends and assessing the company's financial health
• Recommending actions to maintain or enhance performance
• Conducting comprehensive analyses of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance against business plans
• Identifying and evaluating opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
• Overseeing the operations of the finance department
• Setting goals and designing frameworks to achieve them
• Managing the preparation of the company's budget
• Ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• C1/C2 English and Spanish writing and speaking skills
• At least 5 years of proven experience in similar roles
• Proven experience creating and optimizing financial processes
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Finance Teams
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Graduated with a college degree
• Able to work a Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm schedule in EST time zone
• Proficient with Microsoft programs and Google Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $24,000 - $30,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
