Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a seamless retail environment for customers. This role plays a critical part in maintaining store efficiency and service quality.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Assists the Store Manager in supervising retail store staff. Helps in directing, coordinating, and evaluating store operations. Supports supervisory tasks in line with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Assists in employee management processes including training, performance appraisals, and problem resolution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supports daily store operations to promote efficient retail management. Assists in supervising sales, inventory, financial, and management aspects to enhance store performance and profitability. Contributes to hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring store staff, aiming for high performance and development. Participates in developing sales strategies to boost customer satisfaction and increase sales, rentals, & lesson engagements. Manages customer inquiries and issues, ensuring they are resolved promptly and professionally. Aids in upholding the store's presentation standards, making sure it is clean, orderly, and visually appealing. Responsible for accurately counting out the cash drawer at the close of each business day, preparing the deposit slip with precision, and ensuring the day's earnings are securely deposited at the bank. Assist in coordinating staff efforts to conduct and complete assigned spot checks on inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management. Works with the instrument repair department to ensure comprehensive customer service. Helps ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations and standards. Communicates effectively with staff regarding goals, priorities, and important information. Ensures completion of daily and weekly tasks in line with store procedures. Implements and adheres to policies and procedures under the guidance of the General Manager. Performs additional duties as needed.
