To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Design, implement, operate, and document security infrastructure
• Analyze and resolve incidents as part of incident and problem management
• Keep applications up to date and introduce new security technologies
• Monitor market and technology trends to identify optimization potential
• Advise project managers on upcoming IT security projects

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Completed training in IT, a degree in (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of load balancing and web application firewall architectures (preferably with F5 technologies)
• Initial experience with F5 BigIP (ILM, APM, ASM) and FortiGate solutions is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Layer-3 routing, TCP/IP protocols, mailing, DNS, networking, and Linux
• Independent, structured working style with strong quality and service orientation
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in German and English
