Job Summary: As a Radiopharmaceutical Imaging Specialist with Quik Travel Staffing, you will perform diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment. Your duties will include obtaining and evaluating patient-related information, providing quality services to client facilities and patients, and operating and manipulating gamma cameras to produce and process images.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtains and evaluates patient-related information in order to produce appropriate images.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related information to produce appropriate images.
  • Provides quality services to client facilities and patients.
  • Performs diagnostic studies; selects proper technique/protocol to obtain best data.
  • Administers intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by the physician.
  • Operates and manipulates gamma camera to produce and process images.
  • Provides safe transfers and assistance to patients.
  • Operates equipment safely and according to equipment and client facility guidelines.
  • Prevents the transfer of infection and blood borne contaminants.
  • Complies with work instructions and meets quality and quantity criteria of client facility.
  • Complies with policies and procedures of Quik Travel Staffing and client facility.
  • Performs assignments in an independent and professional manner.
  • Maintains current skills in order to perform the above duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Observes and maintains compliance with all applicable client facility, JCAHO, Federal, State, & County regulations.
