Job Description:

The Financial Controller position at Hirschi Companies oversees the management and monitoring of accounting functions and financial stability across the organization and its subsidiaries. This includes managing cash flow, fixed assets, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accumulation of financial data necessary for accurate business results
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, internal controls over financial reporting, assets, and accounting policies
  • Compile and present consolidated financial statements to executive management
  • Communicate financial metrics, reports, and potential risks to executive management
  • Lead company report building and maintenance using advanced Excel, Crystal Reports, and Power BI
  • Compile, monitor, and communicate monthly and annual operating budgets
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure
  • Manage paperwork, reports, statements, etc., required for federal and state regulatory agencies
  • Manage company insurance programs and audits
  • Maintain healthy relationships with current banks and provide required information
