The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infants, children, and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation, and/or the parent-child relationship. Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, and other allied health professionals. We provide services at approximately 18 locations across the metropolitan Perth area, as well as home, school, and community visits as needed.
Our Approach
We adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to them. We believe that every child has the right to reach their full potential, and we are committed to providing high-quality services that support this goal. Our therapists work collaboratively with families to develop strategies for supporting child development and promoting positive outcomes.
