Job Description
As a Humanitarian Affairs Officer/Head of Coordination Unit, you will lead our team in Venezuela. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, providing oversight on substantive and administrative issues, monitoring and analyzing humanitarian response developments, and assisting in the production of appeals for international assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the team, providing oversight on substantive and administrative issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on humanitarian response developments in the country.
  • Assist in the production of appeals for international assistance.
  • Organize and prepare inter-cluster meetings and ensure alignment with HCT priorities.


Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have an advanced university degree in a related field, such as political science or public administration. A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in humanitarian affairs, emergency preparedness, crisis management, or related areas is also required.
