Job Description

Hazen and Sawyer is a professional consulting services corporation providing Environmental Engineering and Science to the public and private sectors since 1951.

We are seeking candidates for a full-time Structural Engineer position.

The selected individual will lead structural design and construction administration responsibilities for major projects involving upgrades to wastewater, water, and reclaimed water treatment plants.

  • Performing structural design and analysis of environmental structures such as low-rise industrial buildings, pump stations, process basins, treatment facilities, dams, and spillways.

Candidates must be effective communicators and work in multi-discipline teams.

Some travel required for site reconnaissance tasks, condition assessments, and structural observations.

Requirements
  • 6-12 years of experience
  • BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural concentration from an ABET accredited institution
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license and a Structural Engineering (SE) license preferred, or the ability to obtain such in the State of California, Oregon, or Washington
