Job Summary

Talentsearchpro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geriatric Medicine Physician Specialist to provide comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents and hospital participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through continuous assessments, care plan coordination, and medical oversight.
  • Collaborate with community-based physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless discharge planning and 24-hour care delivery.
  • Actively participate in IDT meetings, communicating participant changes and coordinating care.
  • Perform regular visits to nursing home residents as needed and make adjustments to their care plans accordingly.
  • Participate in rotating night and weekend call shifts to ensure uninterrupted care.
Requirements
  • Accredited residency program completion from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree in a relevant field.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Geriatrics board certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • An active California Physician License without any restrictions.
  • State CDS Certification and DEA Registration are also required.
Benefits

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of $175,000, which includes a base salary and potential bonuses based on performance.
