At Quik Travel Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services to our clients. Your expertise in radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment will enable you to produce accurate and reliable images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining and evaluating patient-related information to produce appropriate images. You will demonstrate knowledge of age-related information to ensure that your images are tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. In addition, you will provide quality services to client facilities and patients, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
Your duties will include performing diagnostic studies, selecting the proper technique/protocol to obtain the best data, and administering intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by physicians. You will also operate and manipulate gamma cameras to produce and process images, while providing safe transfers and assistance to patients. Furthermore, you will operate equipment safely and according to equipment and client facility guidelines, preventing the transfer of infection and blood-borne contaminants.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a current License/Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist issued by the State of California, Department of Health Services. Additionally, you must have a CA License in hand to apply, as well as a current Healthcare Provider CPR card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification if required.
