Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring national and international media outlets, gathering and transcribing relevant statements and documents. You will track decisions and processes of international bodies regarding Venezuela and analyze various information sources to deepen your understanding of Venezuelan developments. Additionally, you will prepare weekly updates and regular written reports on contextual analysis, support UN internal coordination, and organize meetings/workshops.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need a Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Political Economy, Development Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, or a related discipline. You should have demonstrated interest and/or experience in areas related to international affairs, political affairs, security, and/or information analysis. Strong analytical/research skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish are essential. A first experience in information management, information systems, or other related experience would be highly regarded.
