Nurse Practitioner

Salary Range: $32.00-33.00 per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team as a Wellness Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resident care and medication management under the medical direction of attending physicians.

Responsibilities:

1. Resident Care Coordination: Coordinate incidental medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care for residents, ensuring seamless transitions between healthcare providers
2. Nursing Duties: Perform nursing duties as directed and in accordance with the appropriate scope of the Nurse Practice Act, including administering medications and performing treatments as ordered by a physician
3. Support to Medication Technicians: Provide support to Medication Technicians to ensure competent delivery of medications to residents
4. Resident Assessment: Assist with resident assessment tasks as directed by the Health Services Director

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals
