Job Title: Accounting Assistant

About the Role

The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Assistant to join our Finance department. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the team by ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping, preparing reports for Management, and analyzing sales reports to identify discrepancies.

In this position, you will be responsible for daily reconciliations of all bank accounts, monthly reconciliation of Credit Card accounts, and verification of daily sales reports from retail outlets and head office sales. You will also be responsible for querying and resolving any discrepancies identified, as well as tracking and recording all incoming payments from customers.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
