At unybrands, we are seeking a highly skilled CAD 3D Modeler to join our team. As a CAD 3D Modeler, you will be responsible for creating and refining detailed 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Key Responsibilities:- 3D Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models from sketches, drawings, and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into model revisions.
- Technical Accuracy: Ensure that all models are accurate, detailed, and meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, changes, and model versions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and inspections of models to identify and resolve any issues before finalizing designs.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to continuously improve modeling techniques and practices.
- Experience: Proven experience as a CAD 3D Modeler or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your modeling skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Revit). Experience with rendering software and visualization tools is a must. Skill with Photoshop and animation software are strongly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in modeling, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
