Mortgage Loan Originator Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Processor to manage the loan processing workflow, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services and the mortgage industry, including familiarity with underwriting processes, Fair Housing regulations, and FNMA guidelines.

Duties
• Review and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Process mortgage loans from application through closing, ensuring all documentation is in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with loan officers, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve any issues that arise during the processing phase.
• Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower qualifications and risk levels.
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and correspondence related to loan processing.
• Collaborate with escrow agents to facilitate smooth closings.

Requirements
• Previous experience in loan processing or related financial services roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting processes and credit analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
• Familiarity with escrow procedures and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of banking practices related to mortgage lending is a plus.

The estimated salary for this position is $44.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
