We are currently seeking a skilled Biomechanical Engineer to join our team.

As a Biomechanical Engineer at Dean Biomechanics, you will play a critical role in analyzing human injury associated with real-world events.

You will work closely with our team of experts to investigate incidents and provide expert witness testimony.

The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical/biomechanical engineering, as well as experience in accident reconstruction and expert witness testimony.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate incidents involving claimed injuries/fatalities due to specific events
  • Apply scientific and engineering principles to analyze human injury
  • Provide expert witness testimony in lawsuits, education, research, and training purposes
  • Develop business opportunities with current and prospective clients
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in presentations for clients and peers

Requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) in mechanical/biomechanical engineering (or related discipline)
  • Professional licensure and certification (e.g., Professional Engineer) or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • ACTAR certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • Experience in Anatomy/Physiology/Orthopedics and Auto Mechanics
