The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in global sourcing leadership. With a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in this field, you will have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in managing multi-location, global businesses.

You will lead complex and critical negotiations with suppliers, utilizing your extensive knowledge of negotiation principles and techniques to drive economic value and manage supply chain risk.

As a strategic thinker, you will develop and implement sourcing strategies that harness economies of scale, reduce complexity, and enhance profitability. Your expertise in supplier management, category management, and total cost principles will enable you to oversee the supplier selection process and build productive relationships with key suppliers.

In this role, you will also partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other category managers, to drive value analysis and engineering (VAVE) savings. You will leverage your knowledge of Lean practices, such as Daily Management, Standard Work, Kaizen, Heijunka, Poka-yoke, and Gemba, to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
