**About the Role**
The Security Operations (SecOps) team plays a critical role in shaping Canonical's security posture. As a Senior/Staff Security Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving our security practices, techniques, tools, systems, and policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Evaluate, select, and implement new security tools and practices to improve our security architecture.
- Identify, contain, and guide the remediation of security threats and cyber attacks.
- Collaborate with the SecOps team to develop and maintain security standards and playbooks.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on threat detection and response.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
