Customer Management Software Support Specialist (AppFolio)

About the Role
We're seeking a Customer Management Software Support Specialist to assist our field and office teams with all aspects of the AppFolio property management platform. This position serves as the first point of contact for AppFolio-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and training new employees on key workflows. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, resourceful, and eager to become a subject-matter expert in AppFolio. Experience with the platform is preferred, but full training will be provided for a self-motivated and fast learner.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide timely support to team members experiencing technical or workflow issues in AppFolio.
· Diagnose problems, document solutions, and escalate complex cases as needed.
· Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure quick resolution of issues.
· Train new hires on AppFolio basics including leasing, rent posting, work orders, communication tools, and reporting.
· Create or update internal training guides, videos, and FAQs for easy reference.
· Offer ongoing refresher sessions and one-on-one coaching for field and office staff.
· Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve AppFolio adoption across the company.
· Assist with testing new features, updates, and integrations.
· Maintain documentation of known issues and best practices.
Qualifications
· Experience: Prior experience using AppFolio or other property-management software is preferred, but not required.
· Language: Fluent in English – spoken and written (required).
· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent organization and follow-through.
· Technical curiosity and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
· Comfortable guiding others and explaining processes clearly.
· Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
Work Details
· Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (aligned with U.S. Central or Eastern Time).
· Location: Remote – Latin America or South America preferred.
· Pay: USD $400–$600 per month (depending on experience and skill level).
