Proactive Bookkeeper

We are building a pipeline of highly proactive Bookkeepers (Junior, Mid, and Senior levels) for upcoming client projects. We're looking for individuals who can not only handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks but also take initiative, anticipate needs, and contribute to smoother, more efficient financial operations.If you're someone who thinks ahead, solves problems proactively, and enjoys improving processes—not just completing tasks—this opportunity is for you.

Skills Required:

At least 3 years of hands-on full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online

High proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Strong understanding of payroll processes and remittance calculations

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, or similar tools, including chart of accounts setup, rules automation, and multi-entity management

Must be comfortable using WhatsApp, Email, and Microsoft Teams as primary communication channels

Proficient in English, both written and verbal

Knowledge on Canadian and US payrolls

Duties/Tasks to Perform:

• Maintain accurate financial records through daily bookkeeping activities.
• Process invoices, vendor bills, and reimbursements.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.
• Support month-end reporting and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis (mid/senior).
• Maintain organized financial documentation and audit-ready files.
• Contribute to improving workflows, controls, and accounting processes.
• Proactively identify issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement.

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail to guarantee accuracy and consistency in all administrative tasks.
• Proactive and positive approach, focused on enhancing the experience of colleagues, clients, and visitors alike.
