About Nexus Nexus Industrial Group is an industrial operating partner based in Houston. We coordinate manufacturing through a network of qualified partners and supply the parts that keep wellheads and flange connections sealed and protected: ring and spiral-wound gaskets, studs, bolts and heavy hex nuts, custom machined and hot-forged parts, needle valves and valve components, and cathodic protection anodes. Every order ships with its documentation and traceability. The role This is a remote role based in Venezuela, ideally in Zulia, to open the Venezuelan market for Nexus. Operators and service companies are reactivating wells and working them over. That work runs on replacement parts. You will build Nexus’s place in it. What you will do
• Find and qualify buyers among service companies (workover, wireline, artificial lift, compression), operators, and mixed companies.
• Build relationships with procurement, maintenance, and engineering decision-makers.
• Work with our Houston team to turn requirements into RFQs, quotes, and orders.
• Lead Nexus’s supplier registration and vendor qualification.
• Confirm commercial and payment terms before we quote.
• Keep your pipeline current in our CRM.
• Report monthly on rig activations, contract awards, workover programs, and field restarts. What you bring
• 5+ years selling to or buying for oil and gas operations in Venezuela, with direct experience in Lake Maracaibo or the eastern basins.
• An active network among service companies and operators, in procurement or maintenance.
• Working knowledge of wellhead and flange components (API 6A, ASME B16.20, bolting grades, sour service), or the ability to learn fast.
• Experience registering as a vendor with operators or international service companies.
• Fluent English (required).
• A clear understanding of anti-corruption and sanctions obligations when representing a US company.
• An engineering degree is a plus. Hiring process

• First round: Chief Marketing Officer. Your market knowledge, your network, and how you would position Nexus in Venezuela.
• Second round: Chief Engineering Officer. Technical fit: wellhead and flange components, specifications, and how you turn a field requirement into a complete RFQ.
• Third round: CEO. Commercial judgment, compliance, and your 90-day plan.
