CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO: Estos puestos han de cubrirse en los almacenes del PMA y los titulares trabajan bajo la supervisión estricta de un Almacenista Superior. FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO: Prestar apoyo en la recepción/despacho y verificación de productos para maximizar la calidad de las operaciones de almacén y mitigar las pérdidas, y respaldar las mejores prácticas de gestión de almacenes de conformidad con las directrices y las normas del PMA en la materia. RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES (lista indicativa y no exhaustiva): 1. Prestar apoyo en la recepción/despacho de productos, incluido el transbordo (de camión a camión), teniendo presente la documentación oficial aprobada (p. ej., cartas de porte y/o notas de entrega) y velando por la precisión en el recuento físico de los productos y por la calidad de los mismos, de conformidad con las normas establecidas. 2. Preparar y verificar los documentos de almacén y transporte, y mantener archivos confidenciales y registros exactos de las transacciones de almacén para poder dar cuenta inmediatamente de los movimientos de productos de conformidad con los requisitos institucionales. 3. Prestar apoyo diariamente en la conciliación de cierre del almacén y en la realización de controles exhaustivos de las existencias, de conformidad con los requisitos de gestión del almacén. 4. Realizar inspecciones diarias y preparar informes sobre la cantidad y calidad de los productos recibidos/despachados y manipulados, y remitirlos al supervisor para que se tomen las medidas del caso. 5. Prestar apoyo en la puesta en práctica de medidas apropiadas para salvaguardar los productos alimenticios y no alimentarios, a fin de garantizar el control de calidad aplicando medidas preventivas estándar de conformidad con los procedimientos del PMA establecidos y la autorización recibida del supervisor. 6. Vigilar el estado del almacén y de los productos y tomar medidas apropiadas para apoyar una utilización eficiente del espacio de almacén y un almacenamiento bien organizado de las mercancías aplicando las normas del PMA en la materia. EXPERIENCIA DESEABLE PARA DESEMPEÑAR ESTA FUNCIÓN: �
� Experiencia en el seguimiento de diversos aspectos de las operaciones de logística. �
� Experiencia en la prestación de apoyo a la gestión de almacenes. �
� Experiencia en la prestación de apoyo a la gestión de inventarios. �
� Experiencia en la entrada de datos y la extracción de informes periódicos. CUALIFICACIONES ACADÉMICAS ESTÁNDAR MÍNIMAS: Formación: Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Idiomas: Dominio (nivel C) del idioma oficial de las Naciones Unidas que se utilice en el lugar de destino y del idioma hablado en el lugar de destino, si fuera diferente.
