Payroll Officer - DS
Job Summary
The Payroll Officer is responsible for processing employee payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations, and supporting payroll-related reporting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll and employee payments accurately and timely.
- Verify timesheets, attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, allowances, and end-of-service benefits.
- Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll activities.
- Handle employee payroll queries and provide timely resolutions.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of payroll administration experience.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based organizations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP/HRMS systems and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
