Job Description
Dry Utility Inspector
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Dry Utility Inspector to join our team In this role you will get to involve in monitoring, inspection, coordination, witnessing, documentation of all of dry utilities works in the Project .
What You'll Be Doing

Assist the Civil/ utilities Assistant Resident Engineer in performing the site duties related to dry utilities in accordance with the approved shop drawings & project specification.
Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities
Attend to Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project
Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works
Carry out acceptance sampling plans, testing and quality measures, ensuring compliance with the project’s specifications.
Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings within his line of work.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection of Streetlighting and Electrical substations, feeder pillars, control cabinets and other electrical works such as termination, wiring, fault finding, cable laying etc.
Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
Commitment to safe work practices

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a ability to interact effectively with project team.
Must possess the ability to comprehend and interpret construction specifications, as well as demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction-related processes pertinent to the designated area of assignment.
Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.
