Your key responsibilities will include:Assist in the identification of Aboriginal Health needs and development of appropriate programs.Promote and demonstrate effective communication with client/family/community, as a member of the Child & Adolescent Community Health – Aboriginal Health Team.Provide appropriate health promotion activities through individual and/or group participation.Work with other members of the health team to ensure access to appropriate disease control services.Maintain appropriate, legible records and ensure security and confidentiality of client information.Pursuant to Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent.The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia.
