About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Occupational Therapists who are passionate about providing high-quality services to children with developmental concerns. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, and other allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Child Development Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing assessment and treatment sessions to children with developmental concerns;
  • Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to support children's development;
  • Collaborating with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care;
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;
  • Eligibility for registration by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
