Job Summary:

The Airside Duty Manager CCS is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of ground services, coordinating with other sections, and ensuring punctuality and safety of all Qatar Airways operations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of customer service standards while adhering to tight deadlines.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations as liaison between airport service providers and users
  • Provide input and recommendations to management to improve effectiveness of daily operations
  • Ensure passenger and aircraft handling practices conform to safety and security standards
  • Manage and control manpower on shift to optimize utilization and maintain staff morale and discipline
  • Conduct spot-checks to ensure adequate standards are maintained
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints effectively, liaising daily with all departments including Customer Relations
  • Compile detailed station handling report for Airport Duty Manager on shift basis

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 years relevant experience
  • Experience in an airline or reputed GHA on supervisory level
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Spanish is of added value
  • Knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, Dangerous Goods Regulation
