The Accounting Team at Persona

As the central hub for financial reporting, customer & vendor transactions, employee expenses, and payroll support, our accounting team plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our operations. We're building an audit-ready accounting function that will drive efficiency, improve cash flow, and ensure compliance with the most stringent standards.

Our team takes ownership of every aspect of our work, from core financial processes to special projects that fuel our growth. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll collaborate closely with Finance, Monetization, Engineering, and the GTM organization to drive process improvements, enhance billing capabilities, and maintain revenue-related balance sheet items.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 by drafting technical memos, reviewing contracts, booking journal entries, and suggesting process enhancements
- Support customer invoicing cycles and participate in sales tax review and filing
- Maintain and reconcile key revenue-related balance sheet items, ensuring US GAAP compliance
- Partner with Engineering and Finance teams to drive improvements in billing processes
- Suggest and implement process improvements to ensure the accounting function remains audit-ready

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need 3+ years of accounting and/or audit experience, preferably in SaaS or usage-based revenue companies. Your expertise should include implementing ASC 606 requirements and working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Proficiency in accounting software (QBO, Netsuite), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace is essential, along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
