Join our Gas Strategy & Technical Support Department as a Geomechanics/Rock Mechanics Engineer and play a crucial role in driving the company's success.

Responsibilities will include:

• Performing geomechanical analysis and modeling to optimize oil and gas operations.

• Collecting, interpreting, and integrating geomechanical data from various sources.

• Developing and calibrating geomechanical models using advanced software tools.

• Evaluating and quantifying the effects of geomechanical processes on reservoir behavior, fluid flow, and well performance.

• Providing expert recommendations and solutions to mitigate risks and enhance opportunities for oil and gas extraction.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Bachelor of science in petroleum engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, geotechnical engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a petroleum engineering organization, with 10 years of relevant experience in rock mechanics or geomechanics engineering.

• Knowledge of rock mechanics or geomechanics principles, theories, and applications.

• Proficiency in using rock mechanics or geomechanics software tools such as Abaqus, FLAC3D, Petrel, or VISAGE.
