Job Summary:

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a seasoned Senior Water Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance facilities in the Great Bay and Sacramento areas.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead project teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprising designers, engineers, and contractors
  • Coordinate with clients, facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Perform quality control on construction operations and document progress
  • Review contractor schedules, periodic pay estimates, and change orders
  • Interface with clients and perform client management activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant construction experience in heavy construction, mechanical, and electrical construction, preferably in the water/wastewater industry
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn construction-specific software use
  • Possession of a PE license, CCM certification, OSHA 10 certification, or other industry certifications a plus

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
