Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional with 10+ years of capital facilities planning and development experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field. They should possess demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability backgrounds of college students and employees.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day direction and supervision of all CalArts' capital facilities planning needs. This includes managing project planning and design for all major and minor capital projects, ensuring that planning and design are functional, environmentally sustainable, appropriately scoped, well-designed, and cost-effective. The candidate will also support the Vice President for Facilities Development and Management on construction project management issues.
